Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel provides a great alternative to traditional hotels or purpose-built conference centres for meetings and events. Conveniently located just 500 yards from J6 of the M40 bordering Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire, you will find this unique venue warmly welcoming, intimate and informal whilst providing a highly professional yet relaxed service.

Our Space

Our Oxford Room accommodates up to 120 guests, divides in two and features floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views over the Chiltern Hills. It comes complete with integral data projector and screen, along with integral lighting and sound systems.

The adjoining Wycombe Room, with its own dedicated bar is perfect for breakouts, drinks receptions and pre-registration. The furnished outdoor courtyard area is ideal for al fresco dining and relaxed receptions. We also have a number of additional syndicate rooms available as well as areas within the bar itself ideal for smaller, more informal meetings.


At the Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel, we have plenty of stunning outdoor spaces for you and your colleagues to enjoy. Our picturesque courtyard garden is perfect for canapés and drinks receptions, we even have our own large field suitable for your corporate activity days.

If you wish to have a meeting followed by a BBQ or a hog roast then why not hire our newly refurbished Oxford Suite that opens out to our sunny private patio area.

Our bespoke summer packages are £38 per person to include venue hire of your private outdoor space, a glass of summer Pimm’s or a bottle of chilled beer and a delicious BBQ or hog roast menu. What a fantastic way to treat the team!

We are an idea venue for residential conferences due to our location and rural setting. All our 24-hour rates include overnight accommodation, a 3-course dinner and full English breakfast.
